Olek Buzunov

Olek (Alex) Buzunov is a multidisciplinary artist: painter, photographer, printmaker and digital artist. He has been doing figurative and portrait speed-drawing for years.

He thinks of his work as a typical example of an outsider rookie artist juggling a 9-to-5 job with drawing, painting, printing and sculpture. Fundamentals matter in his process. Critics are relentless, but look past the "doodling" and you may find energy, emotion, vulnerability and beauty.

He works and lives in Jersey City. His work is held in private collections.
